New Pipe Band Instruments
The Whakatane Caledonian Society at its May meeting approved the purchase of new equipment for its Pipe Band amounting to £l4O. The equipment includes the latest model side, toner and bass drums, and a handsome Drum-major’ j staff. All of it was recently imported from the Old Country, and should go a long way towards improving the standard and appearance of the band.
