SIMONS. In loving memory of our -dear Mother who passed away June 12th, 1945. Just one long year without you, mum, And all the rest you face; Though friends are near to help and cheer, There is none can take your place. If your eyes could only open, What a change you would see, But perhaps it is far f better, You are sleeping peacefully. So those who have a mother, Guard her with love and care, Because you never know her value, Until you see her vacant chair.
