Macdonald, Waimana, who are disposing of the following grade dairy cattle, as they are concentrating on Pedigree Jerseys, we will sell the following:— On account of Mr Neil Reid: 30 Choice Young Jersey Cows 15 Choice Jersey 2-year in-calf Heifers I.C.A. i On account of Mr W. H. Macdonald: 20 Choice Jersey and Jersey Cross Cows. ' Account A. A. Yeoman: 13 Rising 2-year Jersey in-calf Heifers. Mr Reid’s cows consist of good quality well bred cattle, mostly second and third calvers—calving dates and butterfat records will be given at the sale. The heifers are a good line. Mr Macdonald’s cows are good quality well bred cattle. Both lines are in calf to Stud Jersey Bulls. , We recommend these cattle to I farmers requiring replacements. NOTE: Cows—All the cows are in calf to grandsons of “Vagabond of Oaklands” and “Oddicombe Dreaming Sam.” The cows have been very heavily culled and only sound cows ace left. Test figures and calving dates will be given out at the sale. 2-year-old heifers —All. out «of cows that have done between 300 and 4001bs butterfat and are showing well in calf. Bulls are sired by Kupata Pasha, grandson of Vagabond of Oaklands and out of cows with records up to 7811bs fat under C.O.R. and with excellent G.H.T. records up t© 4691bs fat in 314 days, and also sired by “Tarnhowe Sampson” and “Glenara Silent Knight”, “Gauntlet Oxford Design’ and “Raeburn Blue Peter.” HORSES 1 § Draught Mare, ex South Island and all harness.
