TANEATUA BRANCH MEETS The monthly meeting of the Taneatua Branch of the New Zealand Labour Party was held in the Library room on Monday, May 27. The following members were present: Mesdames E. C. Santon, Messrs. E. Frast, T. Carmichael, L. Newdick, Finley, Kairns, H. Kelsen, R. Ducker, J. Shaw, the chairman (G. Santon) and secretary (B. Martin). A reply was received from the Minister of Housing with regard to State houses in Taneatua, when he advised that all people who wished to rent State houses should forward their applications to the Hamilton Branch of the State Advances Corporation.
