DISPOSAL OF RELIEF TEAMS SALONIKA, CYCLADES, ATHENS News of the disposition of the four teams comprising the CORSO relief unit in Greece has been received by CORSO Headquarters in Wellington. The No. 1 Public Health team and the Relief Refugee team are already hard at work in Salonika. The No. 2 Public Health team is working on the island of Seros in the Cyclades, using Seros as a base and working all the nearby islands in need of help. UNRRA purchased a sizeable sailing vessel with an auxiliary motor, to facilitate this team’s work. “In both places there is all the work we anticipated and more,” writes the Deputy Leader of the unit, Mr J. A. Horne. “Make no mistake about it, the need is here all right and we will be able to do z worth-while job.” The Mobile Laboratory team is stationed in Athens itself and is doing blood-tests for venereal disease, the incidence of which*is high in Athens. Later, the team will move out into the country districts, doing the same job of work.
