NORTHERN FARMERS’ VIEWS

At last Executive meeting of the N.Z. Farmers’ - Union (Auckland Province) the following remit was received from the Whangarei SubProvince: “In view of the grave fSod emergency in Great Britain and the Empire, this Sub-Province urge the Auckland Provincial Executive to take up the matter of increasing the food production of New Zealand and seek the co-operation of Chambers of Commerce, Labour Unions and other organisations of a similar nature.”
