MARCH ALLOCATIONS TO EXSERVICEMEN

A further 164 State rental houses and flats were let to ex-servicemen during the month of March under the 50 per cent, allocation system, states the Rehabilitation Board. This brought the total number to be so allocated to the end of that month to 5021. Of these 1447 have been in the Auckland district (33 in March), 384 in the Hamilton district (21) in March, Napier district 226 (2), New Plymouth district 142 (7), ton district 1851 (73), Nelson district 101 (6), Christchurch district 484 (7), Dunedin district 279 (8), Invercargill district 106 (7), totals 5021 (164).
