WHAKATANE GOLF CLUB The 36 hole Eclectic competition played over the last two weekends 'resulted in a win for R. J. Smith with the excellent card of 86—24 62. The next scores were L. B. Smith 83— 20—63 and R. J. Pattison 77—12 —65. On Saturday the subsiding medal event was won by B. M. Alexander 88—20—68, runner-up L. W.
