PERSONAL

Messrs. C. V. Fordham, Registrar of the Native Land Court, and Mr 13. Campbell of the Housing Branch of the Native Department are at present in Whakatane. At the annual general meeting of the Bay of Plenty Rugby Union held at Whakatane last Saturday, mention was made of the nine years of service given the Bay Union by Mr W. S. Henderson in thi position of Secretary-Treasurer. A number of delegates from the varous sub-Un-Ipns spoke voicing their appreciation of his work, and congratulating him on his record. He had, they said, been of invaluable assistance to Rugby not only in Whakatane, but throughout the Bay.
