VVHAKATANE BOWLING CLUB CONCLUDING TOURNAMENT The Bowling season, which concluded last weekend, did so, so far as the Whakatane Club was concerned, with two full days on the club’s greens at Apanui. The first day was occupied with club matches, and the second with a tournament. Results recorded were as under:— Tournament

Tippett 2; C. Pearson 2. Final: P. Smoljan (s), S. McKenzie, J. Thompson and W. Compton 7 beat H. Foster (s), T. Hunt, B. Grace and J. Goodhew 6. Championship Pairs
The final of the Championship Pairs resulted in a win for McKenzie and Henderson over Morpeth and Littlejohn. Junior Championship Singles The Junior Championship Singles was won by R. Morpeth. Saturday’s Play Games played on Saturday resulted as follows:
