Cemetery Improvements

At the last meeting of the Borough Council, it was resolved that the Foreman-Engineer furnish an estimate of cost of the provision of ladies’ ancl men’s conveniences at the Whakatane Hill Cemetery to the next meeting of the Works Committee, and that the Council include in the 1946-47 works estimates provision for concrete channelling, approximately six chains at the west efltrance, also a cattle stop and pedestrian gate at this entrance.
