HOSPITAL BOARD S CREDIT

£2363 IN EXCESS -v,’y A tabled statement of accounts submitted by the secretary (Mr F. Prideaux) and covering income and expenditure on Hospital administration over the , past year, was placed before the I Board on Thursday and revealed a credit balance of £2363. The chairman (Mr J. Mullins) said that the balance was almost entirely due to the fact that the 1 hospital was understaffed most of the year but had carried on under difficulties. Had the full staff been employed there would have been very little over and above the estimates. The statement was received and accepted by the Board.
