Quite So
Few readers have not heard theold joke about the office boy, whoon coming into the office after having taken an unauthorised hour off replied that he had been getting his hair cut, and when the boss asked him what he meant by getting it cut in the firm’s time, replied: “Well, it. grows in the firm’s time,, doesn’t it?’* Yes, that’s quite an old story, but there’s a new addition. Apparently the boss, who* was rather smart, said: “That’s all right, but it doesn’tall grow in the firm’s time,” to which the boy, who was apparently even, smarter, came back with: “That’s quite correct Sir, and I didn’t get it all cut off!”
