A Capable Lepper The Palmerston North hurdler, Mynet, is at present Manawatu's fastest jumper. On Thursday last he executed a round over four hurdles in time that has seldom been equalled at Awapuni. The Inflation gelding is being prepared for the Great Northern Hurdles contest.

On Easy List The 3000 guineas Barwon at Te Rapa is at present on the easy list, and has not been accepted for in the Champagne Stakes at Ellerslie. Tho Ace—Gold Plane geld ing, now a ten year old, once a good performer, has been off the scene since January 1945. If he has regained his soundness the Winter jumpers will have a very worthy opponent to contend with.

A Return to Winning List On a track devoid of sting, Stock Exchange was too good for the opposition in the Kaimai Hurdles at the Tauranga meeting. The Mysotis gelding is being raced into form and is likely to be a payable proposition during the winter months. He has fully proved that he can stay well and carry weight.
