Wednesday at the Whakatane Court a Maori youth, Edward Patrick, was charged with stealing the sum of 30/- in money from Lional Freeman of Matata. It was alleged that the offence took place on March 18. Intimating that further charges \ were pending, the police asked for a remand until granted.
