WAIMANA V TANEATUA
WIN FOR HOME TEAM During the weekend a tennis match was played on the Waimana courts, the weather being ideal. Some quite good play was witnessed, the home team having a win by 21 sets to 11. During the afternoon tea adjournment, Mr Reid of Taneatua expressed thanks on behalf of his club for the pleasant day organised and hoped Waimana would be able to play a return match on the Taneatua courts. Mr Des Woolfield suitably replied and stated that the Waimana Club would like a return game if possible before the season closed. .
