Post Office Knew
A city man.received a letter by a roundabout route from the United States recently. The story starts when, using ordinary printed letterhead paper with his address Colombo Street, Christchurch, C.l, he wrote to a well-known manufacturer of gramophone records. His amazement was complete when he received a reply addressed to Colombo Street, Christchurch, Canary Island. It stands to the credit of the postal authorities, however, that the letter duly reached him.
