The Post Office flag in Whakatane flew all day yesterday to mark St. Patrick’s Day which occurred on Sunday.

‘Joyland’ Concludes The R.S.A. Carnival ‘Joyland’, which had its stand opposite the Rock in the Strand ran its final two nights on Friday and Saturday. Although it did not enjoy a good season throughout, several nights were very successful. The company ‘folded its tents’ and moved out yesterday. It is not known as yet, to what extent the R.S.A. in Whakatane benefited through it.
