FEDERATED FARMERS

RANGITAIKI BRANCH FORMED PROVISIONAL COMMITTEE ELECTED At a meeting of district farmers at Edgecumbe last Tuesday evening, it was unanimously decided to form a Rangitaiki Branch of the Federated Farmers movement and a provisional committee was duly appointed. A strong membership drive is now afoot and a further meeting of members and others will take place in the Presbyterian Hall on Monday evening next, when delegates will report on the recent Dominion Conference at Wellington. Officers elected to a provisional executive were as under— Chairman: Mr J. A. Boulcott. Vice-chairman: Messrs. R. Wilson and C. Hyland. Secretary and Treasurer: Mr F. T. Mayo. Committee: Messrs. W. Law, R. C. Leslie, H. Missen, and A. Dawson. Delegates to Provincial Executive: The Chairman and Secretary.
