Ohope Spotlight
When Freddie Burt’s melodies lured them into action on Saturdaynight, we noticed quite a number of dancing fans in lighter mood. One extremely gay party included Mr and Mrs E. Robinson, Mr and Mrs J. Leather, Tahora, Mr and Mrs N. Cooper and Mrs L. Ducker, Waimana, Mr and Mrs Hay and Mrs Ingle. Another party included Mr and Mrs Marriyatt and Misses Daphne Marriyatt and Auriole Pope of Wellington. Others that caught the eye were Mr and Mrs Vincent, Hamilton, Misses Shirley Weigel, Auckland, Margaret Hobbs, Wellington, Hazel Thomason, Margaret Millar, Eunice Beveridge, Lucy Hirst, and Pat Hancock.
