Rainfall Figures
The rainfall figures for Edgecumbe show that the total fall for January 1946, amounted to 0.63 inches. The total fall for the past three months amounted to 3.34 inches. When compared with the average rainfall for January alone over the past ten 3'ears (5.67 inches) the abnormal spell of dry weather becomes even more apparent. The fall for December 1945, amounted to 2.27 inches.
