ONE HUNDRED UNDER COVER FULL ROUND OF ACTIVITIES One. hundred boys and Scouters drawn from all corner & of the Bay of Plenty are enjoying their annual camp on the Lake Rotoina Camp Site at the present time. In their picturesque setting the lads afe’hav- . ing as one chap remarked, ‘a whale of a good time’ and every day brings forth some new phase of activity. : Swimming is the popular pastime

and the general ‘swimmo’ at 4 p.m. each day sees every hoy in the lake. Following a quf t Sunday when the service was taken by S.M. Captain Rogers of the Church Army, the boys; were taken on a bush .'hike on Monday and were later given -a chance for long distance signalling. Yesterday a boating excursion took them to tlie other side of the ..lake where lunch was served before the hike back to camp. At the get-to-gether each evening the Camp Commandant Commissioner Loflcy is an - excellent community singing leader. Visitors to the camp are Sea Scout Commissioner Walker of Gi?.borne and two of his officers, and

‘Nuska’ Dominion Commissioner for Rover Scouts (A. Campbell Clarke). The camp breaks up on Saturday next following a camp fire ,!pva* gramme on the Friday evening/ to which visitors are welcome,.
