COURT ORDER REFUSED PLEA OF HARDSHIP FAILS An application for possession of a house in Victoria Avenue Wbakatane_ failed before Mr E. L. Walton S.M. in the Whakatane Court
y j last Tuesday when William Graham Brown (Mr B. S. Barry) proceeded against James Hume, the who held a monthly tenancy. Formal notice to quit had been served on November 12 and plaintiff claimed that he required the use of the house for himself and liis family. After hearing the evidence the Magistrate found for the defendant and refused an order.
