In the civilian 'Honours List' for the New Year is included the name of Mrs James Leslie Burnett of Whakatane ueon whom has been conferred the Momb.er.ship of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (M.8.E.) Wo add our Avarm congratulations to those of the district as a whole on the singular honour so conferred.
