CAMPER'S DEATH

INCIDENT AT OHOPE BEACH HEART FAILURE THE CAUSE The holiday season \V*as somewhat marred for a number of campers at Ohope Beach by the sudden heart seizure and subsequent death of Mr Stephen James Bidois of Te Puna Tauranga which occurred on Deei ember 31.-

Mr Bidois who was subject to heart trouble was spending a short camping holiday with friends when he was taken seriously ill. He was being removed to the Whakatane hospital when death occurred on the journey over the hills.

An inquest, which was opened be*fore Mr C. S. Armstrong, Coroner, for identification purposes, disclosed his age as 29 years, and. was finally adjourned sine die.
