EX-SERVICEWOMEN TRAINEES

An increase in the wages rates payable to ex-servicewomen trainees under the .Rehabilitation Board's trade training scheme is announced in a statement from the Rehabilitation Department. Previously ex-serviccwomen trainees have been paid £2 15s a week where board was not provided and £1 15s a Aveek where board was pro* and : wherein it was thought necessary a sujjplemcntary boarding allowance of 10s a week. These rates have now been increased from £2 15s a week to £3 a week and from £1 15s to £2, the supplementary boarding allowance remaining as before.
