WHAKATANE BOWLING CLUB FRIENDLY TOURNAMENT A friendly tournament took place at the Whakatane Bowling Club's greens at Apanui during the weekend the Drones (Wednesday players) playing the Workers (Saturday players) . The tournament resulted in a wjtyi for the Drones, by an gate of 223 points to 179. Following are the results in detail:— Anstis, E. Bell and Howat (s) 23 beat Ryall, Shaplej 7 , Coates and Burgess (s) 14; Sumner, Damton; Warner and Hollis (s) 23 beat McCowan, Baxter Salmon and Marsh (s) 20: R. Wilson, Cantrell, and A. C. King (s) 32 beat Davis Bigelow and E. S. Grant (s) 7; Bulla't Martin J. Alexander and Loane (s) 19 beat F. Gerring. Rutherford, G. Head and Chamberlain (s) 17; Sims, Merito, Oswald and Henderson (s) 27 beat' Smith, Murphy Schofield and Hancock (s) 15; Morpeth. Good, Dixon and Hooper (s) 22 beat Bell, R. Gerring, Anderson and Mcfsaac (s) 19; R.
