arrangements for xmas PERIOD The local Post Office advises that payment of Social Security benefits, pensions and allowances covering the period Ist to 31st December, will be payable from the undermenr tioned dates :— Age Benefits. Tuesday, 18tli December. All other benefits and j>eiisions. including family benefits, war veterans' allowances and universal superannuation: Thursday, 20th December* Imperial Pensions may be drawn on or after 20th December, except in those cases in which advices are specially endorsed indicating that payment is not to be effected before due dateThe monthly Superannuation payments on account of the Public Service and Teachers' Superannuation Funds are to be made on or after the 20th December. Native Trust maintenances and allowances, may be "paid on or after the 20th December.
