JUDGING THE CHAMPIONS FIELD DAY. NEXT TUESDAY Finalists from fourteen competing schools under the auspices of the Rangitaiki Plains Calf Club .will take part in the championship competitions' at Edgecumbe School on Tuesday next (December I). The actual contest will be between the first and second calves from all schools which will be rejudged. The actual programme commences at 11 a.m. and will include schools as far apart as Manawahe and Nukuhou North. In the same connection the committee, has promoted a flower show, vegetable exhibition and handwork display. The whole event should lie well worth attending and: a welcome is extended to„the public generally.
