NURSES ENTERTAIN

ANOTHER SUCCESSFUL DANCE* Another successful dance was held by the nurses of the Whakatane Public Hospital in the Caledonian Hall last Friday evening. A good: crowd attended and everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves. The Premier Dance Band supplied music for dancing whilst Dr. Daw r son capably filled the roll of Master of Ceremonies. Novelty dances were as popular with the crowd, and entered into wholeheartedly. Supper was one of the highlights, of the it being well pre-* pared and well served. The success of the function leaves no room for doubt that such functions run by the'Whakatane nurses are popular with dancing fans of the district.
