One lengtii Notes by 'Stroke' It is interesting to note that the. winning crew was comprised of junior members, which is an indication of the high standard of rowing being attained by tlie young members, of the club. In spite of there being a large muster of members, a vacant scat was found in one of the boats Avhich was filled by a veteran popularly called the "Old Horse,' who pulled his weight like a strong young colt and romped in with his crew, to win the second heat.. It is rumoured that a certain member of the club is canning crabs in a big way. We encourage private enterprise.
