In spite of there being a large muster of members, a vacant scat was found in one of the boats Avhich was filled by a veteran popularly called the "Old Horse,' who pulled his weight like a strong young colt and romped in with his crew, to win the second heat.. It is rumoured that a certain member of the club is canning crabs in a big way. We encourage private enterprise.
