REPRESENTATIVE GAMES On the -."3tli instant two very interesting matches arc. being played on the Wliakatane Domain. Oil the No. 1 wicket Opotilu will play Wbakatanc for the Attrill Gup. Included in the Opotiki side are S. A. Bad-el-ey Waikato and Bay ol' Plenty Hep who will be remembered for his undefeated century against Poverty Bay at Gisbornc last Easter. R. Iv. Mason also represented the Bay of-Plenty last season. The Opotiki side is as follows: G. McMillan, T. Storer D. Beattie G. Vanstone ? ' 9 J. Colling A. Warren W. Beat tie G. Olney, F. R. Mason, S. Badeley 12th man G. Braae. On the No. 2 wicket Pongalcawa will try conclusions with Wliakatane. The Pong-akawa side includes three Bay of Plenty Representatives in I. Crowley N. Spratt and J. Reid. G. Webb is also a batsman who will go close to Representative honours this season having scored 113 against Tauranga last weekend. The Pongalcawa side is as follows: C. Clarkson. J. Reitl, J. Smith. > •> In view of the approaching Bay of Plenty fixtures with Poverty Bay. and the Hawke Cup elimination match with all the players will be on their mettle and some good cricket will no doubt be seen. Plaj'ing hours for the Attrill Cup match are set at 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and the game on the No. 2 wicket 10 a.m. to 3.1") p.m. The band will be in and with good weather an enjoyable day's sport will be exjjerienccd.
