ORIGIN OF PAPER
The Chinese were the first to discover a practical method of paper making by the weaving of fibres. The Arabs of Samarkand acquired
the art from the Chinese and were followed by the Persians. The Moors introduced paper making into Europe in the twelfth century through Spain as they dul agriculture after that art had been lost and forgotten during the dark ages.
