NEW ROD AND GUN CLUB
FORMATION AT TANEATUA
At a meeting held in Taneatua ■on Friday evening last the re-estab-lishment of a Rod and. Gun Club was •decided upon by a large gathering ■of sportsmen. This club (which had previously been known as the Whakatane Rod and Gun Club) ceased activities during the war period and is now to be known as the Tane;atua Rod and Gun Club. Mr W. 11. . Semmcns was elected president and Mr A. G. Cradwiek •secretary. The fee for membership is 5/- per amuun and intending members are requested to hand their names to either the president or the J secretary. A detailed account of this meeting will follow in a later issue..
