Wh'at ho, what ho, ma hearties. Well we've certainly had a long spell of fine weather haven't we. There can be no doubt about it there is something about the Summer weather in this part of the world that there is i.'i no other. 1 spent most of last .Saturday .endeavouring to get Butinsky to go in lor a swim ? but he just wouldn't. He positively hates water, 01' course the other, pets laugh at but after all, when you come to think of it, Butinsky can do lots of things that' they can't. For instance Butinsky can climb about on rocky hill tops and steep slopes where Peterkin could not even find a foothold. He can sleep out at night in the coldest weather (although of course he doesn't like to) and yet keep himself warm. Botli McDougall and Peterkin would almost freeze to death if J left them out on a cold winter's night. Peterkin only waddles along; McDougall can go fairly fast but Butinsky can outstrip any of us. Yes there is a lot Butinsky can do that, we others can't. So you see sailors, if there are some of your pals who can't do something you can or can't do it as well don't J J laugh at them because the chances 'f arc, they can do quite a lot that you can't.
