MISS MAIRE BERG Over 1 75 guests were entertained at. a party held in the Awaken Hall on Saturday by Mr and Mrs L. Bcrg } In honour of their daughter Maire, who has attained lier majority. The evening was spent in dancing and without the guests experienced a thoroughly enjoyable evening's entertainment. Miss Berg who looked charming In n long frock of white organdie, received her guests at the door. Supper was served on a buffet style, and included many tasty delicacies. The toast of the prior to the exit ting of the beautifully decorated cake was proposed by Mr M. Cameron, of who wished Maire all the. best dur-* ing the years to come t and presented ber with a large gold key. Music for dancing was supplied by Mrs Armstrong and Alan, whilst Roland King handled the duties of M.C. A Novelty Monte Carlo w T as won by Miss Nellie Rivett and partner.
