RELEASE OF NEW CARS
PRIORITY FOR EX-SERVICEMEN RECOMMENDED CASES Ex'_serviceuien properly recommended by the Rehabilitation Department Avill receive a measure of priority in procuring new cars> as and when they become available. This is announced by the RehabilL tation Department which adds that arrangements to that effect have been made with the. New Zealand Motor Vehicles Importers' Association. General priorities tentatively agreed upon by the vehicle import. 1 ers are in three main categories. The first is lor health-services such as veterinary surgeons, Plunkct and district nurses- and hospital and in this category they have agreed to include applications from ex-servicemen who have been properly recommended by 'the Rehabilitation Department. Such applications are to be for. warded through the Rehabilitation head office to the Secretary of the Motor Vehicles Importers 1 Association in Wellington. Applications arc to be recommended only where, the ' I use of a car is essential to the successful rehabilitation of an ex.ser 1 viceman.
