MONDAY'S FIRE BRIGADE DEMONSTRATION
FIREMEN from Ngongotaha, Matamata, Opotiki, Tauranga, Te Puke, Mount Mraunganui and Whakatane will participate in the Bay of Plenty Demonstration to be held m the Domain on Monday (Labour Day). The event is of singular interest to the local Brigade, members of which have shouldered the main responsibility in organising and running the 'dem' which we understand is the first of ifs kind t6 be held in the town. Considerable public interest centres round the occaision which will afford the average person chance to witness the training, efficiency and team-work of the leading firemen in the Bay. This is an event of primary importance and demands the fullest public interest.
