Borough Valuation

In answer to the Council's query as to when the revaluation of the Borough may be expected the Valuer General wrote last Monday evening stating that the work would probably be carried out next year. The matter brought up for discussion the whole subject of building sections of which there is a recognised dearth at the present time. Speakers mentioned several large pieces of land within the Borough) which would* make admirable building sites if cut up into subdivisions. The matter of conferring with the Judge of the Native Land Court on the subject was left with the Mayor to do so at the first opportunity.
