WIIAKATANE GOLF CLUB SATURDAY'S RESULTS On Saturday the first rounds of match play for the championships were some close games resulting. The maU'h bcnve ■ and Carter went to the twentieth before Spencc could establish his right to play in the semi-finals. In the match between Syme and Hylaiul the former was. three up at the turn but Hyland turned on some fireworks and came home in 36 winning oil the 18th green. TE TEKO GOLF LADIES' CLUB GAMES Last Sunday the semi-finals for Mrs Smith's trophy were played with the result that Mrs Thomas and Mrs Goodwin will play off the final next week. The Bogey competition played in conjunction was won by Mrs Goodwin with a card of 1 down in the "B' grade and Mrs Moulden 10 down in the 'C' grade. Anyone unable to play please ling Mrs Balfour before 10 a.m. Sunday. TROPHY AND CHAMPIONSHIP RESULTS Following are the results of the Men's Championship: A. P. Smith winner Hyland runner-up. The President's' trophy was won by J. Porter with A. P. Smith runner-up. A Stableford competition will be played on Sunday 22. The draw is as follows: Macken v K. Lyon; A. P. Smith v J.
