The first f'ooil to he Imported
from England for five years appeared in the shops on Tuesday, in the J'or-m ol' hi/ jars of Bovril. Although at (irst shoppers treated them as optical illusions, they are now becoming convinced of their redlity, and the rush to buy is on. Perhaps this is the. beginning heralding the return of the many prewar foods and delicacies which have been miss-, ing from the shelves of New Zealand shops for so long.
