Debutantes Presentation Ball
All Taneatua is agog with the] forthcoming 'Victory Ball' which is! to be held in that centre on the evening on September 24. The main feature of the gathering will be the presentation of a number of 'Debutantes' from tbe district, to the Member for the District and his wife. The event has been promoted by the Taneatua Victory Celebrations' Committee, which is determined to spare no efforts to' ensure that it "will be the outstanding social I event of reecnt years. Debutantes | wishing to be presented are askei'l to get in touch with tbe secretary Mr R. S. Rickett.s. Features of the evening will be a 'claret cup' service a full sit-down supper and the i finest orchestra available.
