AGITATION FOR CONSTRUCTION DEPUTATION TO MINISTER A letter from the Gisborne Chamber of Commerce to the Whauatane Chamber last evening notified that in answer to the Minister of Works had expressed liis willingness to receive a delegation pn the question of completing the rail link between Gisborne and Taneatua on September 19. The matter of whether or not Whakatane should be represented was left in the hands ol" the chairman to discuss the subject with the member for the district and to be guided by his aidvice.
