CLAY BIRD CARTRIDGES Intimation as to the position with regard to the supply of cartridges has been received from the Colonial Ammunition Company. A letter from this iirm to Mr W. Semmens ) an-d which was handed in at this states as follows: — 'With the terination of our present contracts for Clay Bird Cartridges for the we arc hopeful of being, in the very near future, able to make releases of Clay Bird Cartridges, possibly two and a half inch 6 and 7 shot . 'Gun. Club members should be contacted with a view to having an order placed with a local dealer for re-direction to his merchant house with instructions that the order is to be recorded for delivery when supplies arc being made available, rt would also pay clubs; to commence getting jll a stock of clay 1 birds.'
