TOPDRESSING FERTILISER
The works have not yet completed the deliveries of last season's allocations of topdressing fertiliser, but they are being rapidly overtaken. It is anticipated a commencement on new season's orders will begin next' month with cropping requirements having priority over topdressing. About 250 applications were reccived } appealing lor a review of their annual allotments and these have, been dealt with by the appeal committee of the Primary Production Council. All appeals did not qualify } but tentative allocations have been made involving 1000 tons. Before final decisions are given the amounts will have to be submitted to the controller and it is subject to his confirmation before applicants can be notified of the result of their appeals.
