SATURDAY'S PLAY The semi-finals of the Founder® Cup and the Consolation Flight, j were played last Saturday but the 'semi-finals of thfe Fortune Cup are still to come. In the Founders Cup ' Dawson beat Steel and Milne beat ' Alexander. Dawson and Milne there-* ; fore meet in the finals. In the Flight Suckling beat Combes and Dallas beat Luxton. Suckling and Dallas therefore meet in the final.
The remainder of the club played a Stableford which was won by • Powdrell with a score of 33 fol- ' lowed by Spence with 31. A visit from the returned soldiers - at the Rotorua Hospital was expected to take place this wcekcnd ( but advise has now been received' that the visit has been postponed for two '. weeks.
