The estimate provided for an 18 x 24ft. bridge to serve Mcxted's property (£500) and an 19 x 18ft. bridge to serve Bryant's (£400). The chairman pointed' out that there would be no Government subsidies on the work and the total cost Avould be a heavy one. It was decided to approach the Timber Controller for a permit to obtain the necessary timber.
