SATURDAY'S RESULTS

Last Saturday was an ideal day for golfing and some fine scoring resulted. The second rounds of the Fortune ami Founders Cups: were played together with the second round of the Consolation Flight while the remaining members played a Medal round. The highlight of the day was a round of 88—24 by B. Alexander giving him a nett 04 and L. Carter his opponent., was unfortunate to meet him as he also played a fine round of 78—9—69. Mr A. G. Cradwick also played one of his star rounds during the week returning a 74 off the stick. The attention of all players is drawn to the fact that there haf. been a ge'neral revision of handicaps. It should be noted that for the matches still to be played in the current series the handicaps held by the players during their qualifying round are still valid, but for all other competitions the revised handicaps are in force. Tomorrow's Matches The semi-finals of the current scries. of matches will be played for which the opponents are as follows.: Fortune Cup: Denham v Spence; Connell v Syme. Founders Cup: Steel v Dawson; Alexander v Milne, Flight: Suckling v Combes; Luxton v Dallas. Tlie remainder of the club will play a Stableford, the draw being as follows:— Carter v R. Butler; Cradwick V Bridger; Hockin v Burstall; Henderson v Berg; Littlejohn v Ducker; Powdrell v Anderson; Wright v Morpeth; Hyland v Barry; Stone v Rev. Wilson; Brown v J. Wilson; Bushett v Sloane; King v B. Butler; Win.* stone v Wylie; Corbett v Moore; Hay v Rev. Rangi; Spring v Cockerell; Campbell v Philcox; Moody v Wilding.
