TOMORROW'S MATCHES

At the Whakatane Domain tomorrow afternoon, a match will be played between the Whakatane Juiv ior Rep team, and the Bay of Plenty High School Reps. The school team lias been picked from Opotiki, Whakatane > Tc Puke Tauranga and' Katikati, and is the team which is to be matched against Sacred Heart College next week. At Matata an A and B match will be played. Players will come from Tauranga, Rotorua, Te Puke Rangitaiki, Whakatane and Opoti'ki to take part, and the game will be played on the East v West style. Each player, it might be added, will be fighting 'for his place in the team to play Auckland next Saturday.

The team to represent the Bay of Plenty High Schools for 1945 was finally selected at Tauranga yesterday afternoon by Messrs A. Breward (Whakatane) 7 J. V. Nagle (Kati Kati) and D. Scott (Tauranga) from boys nominated by the various high schools in the Bay. The team will play the Whakatane Junior representatives at Whakatane on.
