AGED PEOPLES HOME
A WORTHY PROJECT
With the object of establishing an aged people's home Avhich will, be open to all aged people throughout the Auckland Province, the Provincial Comforts with headquarters in Auckland has instituted an appeal for fuilds. The home, is. intended to provide decent accommodation for 50 people, mostly aged pensioners whose only income is 32/6 per Aveek, and aylio are, on that sum ; expected to support themselves. ' The Home Avill completely look after them lor approximately 25/- per Aveek ? thus leaA'ing them A\ r itli a balance ior pocket money; the Association Avill derive no profit from the inmates. It is expected that the cost oi building the home will be about £17,000, anil therefore any donation Avill be gratefully received by the home and acknoAvledgad.
